This hotel is a great place with excellent staff, a clean room with very hot water, and it's conveniently located near the football ground.

Old hotel with very few guests. Given the few amount of guests, the staff did not even clean the tables during breakfast. The room provided was very smelly and was again old (eg old blankets and old carpet). Luckaly, it was clean.

The gentleman at the reception was willing to give me a better room for my second night, he was nice, but the hotel was simply too bad, so I decided to leave and did not stay the second night I had planned to.
The room was really filthy. The TV had only french and dutch channels due to a technical problem. In the middle of the night a group of young Italians made a lot of noise. The bathroom had no real door and the basin was tiny, the carpets, heatings ant the bit of furniture were in a terrible shape, the curtains black, because so dirty, There were not enough blankets and the materass was too hard. In the breakfast room the radio was too loud. The location is too far away. You have to take quite a few bus stops to reach the metro and then travel a lot of stops.

The hotel had a charming and elegant decor, which made me feel like I was staying in a grand old mansion. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with conveniently placed handrails in the hallways and elevator for extra support.
It would have been even better if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

I chose this hotel for attending a colloquium as it offered meeting facilities. The meeting room, measuring 161 square feet, was adequate for our needs.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or workspace.
